Christian Dalen
Introducing our dedicated barn manager (and also our daughter) and skilled assistant horse trainer, committed to providing exceptional care and training for your equine companions.

Chris’s deep-rooted connection with horses began at the tender age of five. Not only did she participate in gymkhanas, but she also became an active member of the Arizona Junior Rodeo Association, where she won the titles of all-around cowgirl and champion pole bender. This early involvement showcased her unwavering dedication and love for these majestic creatures.
After taking a brief hiatus from the equestrian world, she reignited her passion by joining Dream Horse AZ as a barn helper and stall cleaner in 2016. Her hard work and dedication quickly led to her becoming the Barn Manager and assistant trainer, making significant contributions alongside her father.
During her break from horses, Chris excelled in the hospitality industry, successfully launching several renowned restaurants and bars. She thrived in the fast-paced environment, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and solidifying her reputation as one of the best in her field. However, she felt a deeper calling that went beyond the corporate world. Despite her success in hospitality, Chris felt a void in her life.
It was during her time at Dream Horse AZ that she rediscovered her true passion for horses and the profound sense of peace and love they brought her, reigniting her sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Working closely with her father, Jeff Cook, as he explored new disciplines with wild mustangs and assisted veterans through equine therapy inspired Chris. His guidance and support were instrumental in her journey. Witnessing the excitement of being around wild horses and seeing lives change through equine-assisted therapy, as well as the transformation of a few mustangs she started herself into loyal equine companions, ignited a calling in her heart. This prompted her to pursue a career in this field, allowing her to make a larger impact beyond corporate work and for her own children.
